Our story
timeout. started from a simple frustration: every digital fix for phone addiction had an escape hatch. Ignore for today. Passcode you already know. Reinstall the app in thirty seconds. We built Timeout Card so the unlock would require a real-world action — walking to the card, tapping it, choosing again.
Today Timeout combines a durable NFC card with a free lifetime iOS app: profiles, schedules, Strict Mode, and emergency unblocks when you truly need them. We sell the card. The app stays free — because the product only works if it stays honest.
